During my recent stay at Solaz, I was truly impressed by the culinary experience offered. The on-site bar and restaurant, Rafael Cafe, became my go-to for breakfast each morning. Imagine waking up to fresh fruits and the luxurious luxury of enjoying as much good Italian coffee as you can drink—it’s the kind of morning ritual that sets the tone for the day. The restaurant ambiance is inviting, with a warm hospitality that feels genuine. One of my favorite moments was enjoying breakfast on the terrace, where the view is absolutely not to be missed. While the room was cozy, it was just right for two, accommodating our bags easily while still maintaining a comfortable space. The noise level was surprisingly low, even with the lively bars and restaurants just downstairs; the noise-cancelling windows were a wonderful feature. The balcony was a highlight, perfect for taking in stunning sunrises alongside my morning coffee. It was a refreshing experience that blended relaxation, comfort, and good food, capturing the essence of a gourmet getaway in Auckland.
